Cleaned the Dirty Birds
It really is good beating Atlanta. I'm not sure why.
I love yelling 85 South when we are beating them.
Our seeing a Micheal Vick jersey and saying Who
is Michael Vick's new shoe contract with... Hush
Puppies". Or know that the folks in Atlanta have
less gas than we do right now. I just love beating
them. We have had too many close games with
them, and come up loosing. But not this year.
Mopped the floor with then. I loved that their new
star quarter looked like the rookie he is.
I love winning. It makes the fall the perfect time of
year. We had a fantastic tailgate. Our guest of
honor this week was Avery. What a cutie. A pure
Panther Fan. I think she really liked the BigCats
Panther Head Bed Room shoes. And the
tailgater's came though in supporting Avery and
her team as well as Jake Snelson and his team for
the Down Syndrome Association Buddy Walk. We
collected over $100 and we will be adding to that
this week against the Chefs.

Stagecoach, Chefs and the Ancient One...
Oct, 3
It has been a busy roller coaster week. I have worked for three
companies this week. It is a good thing I held off on getting that Citi Bank
Tattoo. That failing bank thing is not a good feeling. But like the long
gas lines its all because of the liberal media or a right wing conservative
plot. Whoever is behind this crap needs to stop it. It tends to distract me
from the important things is life, like my wife and football. And I'm one of
the lucky guys that those two items go together. So it looks like
Wachovia is hitching a ride on the Wells Fargo stagecoach. Its a lot
better feel than Citi. But the down side is we though all those Yankees
who are constantly complaining about living in the sunny south, would be
recalled to NYC where they could spawn with their own kind. But looks
like they may be staying. No offense intended to the YWLB (Yankees
Who Love Bar-b-Que) crowd and to those who have adopted the use of
"Y'all". The rest of you I did intend to offend.
We face the Chefs (click below for the joke). They pretty much stink so
we have to maker sure this is not one of those games we just play down
to the competition. Break their will early and its a win. Let them linger
around and its a crap shoot. Look for a big game from Peppers.
And lastly the Sr. member of the tailgating crew, Earl, will turn 60 on
Sunday. So we will have some special surprises for him. Earl has been
to more sporting events than ESPN. Its nothing for him to catch a high
school football game on Friday night, a little league baseball game on
Sat. Morning, NC State football on Sat. afternoon, a National Wrestlin
Alliance TV taping event in the Dorton arena on Sat. Night, a medieval
jousting tournament on Sunday morning, A panthers game on Sunday
afternoon, and a Clay Akin concert on Sunday night... (not that there is
anything wrong with that). The biggest sports fan I know. Last year Earl
averaged 1.2 63 sporting events per DAY. Thats not watching them on
TV, thats being there!!! That's living the dream... Heres to being there
and here's to EARL.
