Casey Ferrell Invited to represent
USA in Australia
My dear daughter Casey, has been
invited to play softball this summer in
Australia with the USA Athletes
International team. Thats a pretty big
deal. They will play will play in the 2008
Softball International Friendship Series in
Sydney Australia in July. Casey is one of
14 girls invited to play on this team. USA
Athletes International is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to giving athletes
the opportunity to compete at an
international level. They are looking for
sponsorships from individuals and
corporations. I'll be touching base with
our starters to see if they can lend a
hand.

and on base % of over .700. She is a pure thief on the base
path and leads her team in runs scored. She is a true utility
player, but loves shortstop, catcher and center field. Millbrook
has her in center where she can cover a great deal of turf.

for her college prospects. She is really kicking ass and having
great time. Her team is currently second in the district and

recently name to the All Va. Reion
2 First Team as an outfielder. That
comes after being name the
Northwest District Player of the
Year and the All Northwest District

Marty Thows a Draft Day Masterpiece
Draft day for the Cats this year was big and Big
Marty invited some of the Panther loyalist to
watch the draft unfold. Marty tracked the top
picks on the big board and the debate over the
Panthers #1 pic raged. Running back, Defensive
end, QB were all tops on the Draft Day Pic the
Panthers Pic Challenge. Marty's son, Mark
walked away with the cash by picking Stewart to
be the cats #1 Pick. We toasted the Black and
Blue with a special draft day mix of Panther Juice.
The BigCat loudly announced " who is going to
block for him! " It must have been loud enough
for Fox and Hurney to hear him as the Cats
traded up to get another 1st round pick offensive
lineman Jeff Otah. With the vindication in place,
another round of Panther Juice was poured and
imbibed, The Taste of Victory. Click on the pic
