Casey's hitting for the Mavs
Q and A with Erin Bundrick  Head Coach Shenandoah Valley Mavericks & Sherando
Warriors

1.  What traits does Casey possess that you think will make her a good ambassador for
the USA  in international completion?
Casey is a hard worker and is a tremendous
athlete.

2. What  made Casey successful on the Mavericks Travel team?     Casey is a very
versatile player in that she can play anywhere in the infield as well as the outfield.  It
always seemed to me as though Casey was a team player in that she did not care what
position she played, she would play any position that would benefit the team.  She is also
a great hitter, if there was someone I wanted up at a clutch time it would have been her!

3, You have the unique experience of being one of her coaches earlier in her softball
career and now you coach against her. How do you describe her as a competitor?
 I
Casey is a fierce competitor.  She is a very consistent hitter who will make contact the
majority of the time.  She hits the ball hard and always puts pressure on the defense.  In
my opinion, Casey made the play of the game during the Sherando, Millbrook game last
year when she threw a girl out at home plate on her knees!

4.  What is something you find unique about Casey? I find her athletic ability the most
unique quality about Casey.  Casey is one of the only players in the area who could
literally play in any position and she has a tremendous arm.  The other thing is that her
hitting is so strong and is an asset to any team that she is on.  Also her quickness helps
her offense as well :l.

5.  Any other comment you would like to add would be welcome. She is a great player
who I would love to have on my team again
